In a tranquil corner of Southern Spain, at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, a new architect designed house was built using traditional Spanish methods in 2012 and required a sympathetic hand in creating a practical yet comfortable new interior.
In using locally sourced materials: terracotta tiles, handmade glazed tiles, wood and wrought iron, along with modern appliances and some of the clients art collection shipped in from the UK the house now meets its brief whilst also contemplating its surrounding Moorish history.
